Job description
- Deliver : Developing System Engineering plans and processes and undertake the Development of system definitions, technical requirements and system architectures
- Oversee : Management of technical requirements using appropriate techniques and tools (i.e. DOORS, ComplyPro). Development and delivery of systems engineering processes to support customer requirements
- Provide Expertise: Evaluate the interrelationship of system requirements and aspects of system design and development requirements. Develop scope of works and work packages with clients and serve as the senior technical resource for the team / project
- Ensure Quality: Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise. Develop study and design procedures to facilitate high quality cost effective work by others.
- Collaborate : Participates in multi-disciplinary review of project deliverables. Develop cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects. Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings. Prepares technical specification sections. Provides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.

Requirements
Ready to push the limits of what's possible?
Here's what we're looking for:
- Engineering degree or equivalent
- Chartered Engineer
- Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience of railway systems safety and assurance experience inc. system safety and interoperability
- Knowledge of UK Health and Safety Legislation and Regulations
