Job description

The Infrastructure Technology Senior Lead Analyst is a senior-level position responsible for managing and guiding a team that ensures efficient and effective Citi infrastructure in coordination with the Technology Team. The overall objective of this role is to leverage deep expertise across both infrastructure technology and application development to lead a team, drive automation, and enhance stateful applications, and ensure the reliability, performance, and compliance of the overall technology ecosystem., * Design, build, and maintain highly available and secure Windows Server environments.

  • Manage the full lifecycle of application software, including version control, deployment pipelines, and release management.
  • Administer and serve as the subject matter expert for the Tricentis TOSCA Test suite, overseeing its architecture, implementation, and optimization.
  • Provide senior-level administration for mixed Windows and Linux environments to ensure seamless integration.

Storage and Data Management:

  • Procure, monitor, and manage enterprise storage solutions, including NAS, SAN, ScaleIO, and S3 object storage.
  • Implement and manage storage access controls using Active Directory groups.
  • Design and implement secure file transfer configurations using SFTP and NDM (Connect:Direct).

Application Development and Support:

  • Lead the development, deployment, and performance tuning of stateful applications using Abinitio ETL, advanced Unix shell scripting, and SQL.
  • Design, implement, and manage Run Book Automations (RBAs) to streamline operations and execute Application COB (Continuity of Business) and disaster recovery tests.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and end-users to translate functional requirements into robust technical solutions and data workflows.
  • Oversee the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) for assigned applications, ensuring high standards for code quality, testing, and release management.

System Reliability and Performance:

  • Architect and engineer robust middleware environments using platforms like Tomcat and WebSphere.
  • Lead performance tuning, capacity planning, and high-availability initiatives for critical applications.
  • Implement and test comprehensive infrastructure and application-level disaster recovery plans (including COB) to meet RTO/RPO targets.
  • Design and manage advanced system monitoring and observability using tools like AppDynamics.

Risk and Compliance:

  • Partner with application and support teams to monitor, track, and resolve compliance items, including vulnerabilities (CVMPs, CVEs) and security configuration issues (GEMS).

Leadership and Troubleshooting:

  • Lead complex troubleshooting efforts to perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent solutions.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level administrators on technical skills and operational best practices.
  • Develop and maintain clear technical documentation for system configurations and procedures.

Requirements

  • Operating Systems: Expert-level Windows Server administration; proficiency in Linux.
  • ETL & Data Integration: Good experience with Abinitio for developing and tuning complex data processing applications.
  • Database: Proficiency in SQL, including performance tuning and query optimization.
  • Scripting: Good command of Unix shell scripting for automation and application logic.
  • Middleware: Deep experience with application servers such as Tomcat, WebSphere, or similar platforms.
  • Storage Technologies: Hands-on experience with NAS, SAN, ScaleIO, and S3-based object storage.
  • Virtualization: Good understanding of virtual machine environments (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Testing Suites: Proven experience in administering the Tricentis TOSCA Test suite.
  • Monitoring Tools: Working knowledge with application performance monitoring (APM) tools like AppDynamics, Dynatrace, or New Relic.
  • Disaster Recovery: Demonstrable experience in designing and executing both infrastructure and application-specific COB and disaster recovery plans and automations.
  • Automation: Scripting skills for automation using PowerShell or Bash.
  • Security: Familiarity with vulnerability management, server hardening, and Active Directory.
  • ITSM: Experience with ServiceNow for incident and change management.
  • File Transfer: Knowledge of SFTP and NDM (Connect:Direct) protocols.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master's degree preferred.
