Job description

  • Design, implement, and maintain the organisation's global networking roadmap.
  • Oversee day-to-day network operations ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for complex network or security related incidents.
  • Analyse alerts from network monitoring and security systems, resolving issues efficiently.
  • Configure and optimise infrastructure components including routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Ensure strong governance across incident and change management processes, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Use network analysis and traffic capture tools to diagnose performance issues or trace potential threats.
  • Apply threat intelligence insights to identify evolving risks and implement preventive strategies.

Requirements

  • 5 or more years of experience in network design, implementation, and optimisation across complex environments.
  • Deep technical knowledge of routing, switching, and network architecture.
  • Proficiency with security platforms such as Cisco or Crowdstrike.
  • Solid understanding of network security models, including zone and policy design.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, analytical mindset.
