Applications / Design Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to develop a long-term career within a highly technical and specialist industry. You will play a key role supporting the design, specification, costing, and compliance aspects of projects while working closely with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal departments., * Producing M&E schedules and designs

• Preparing quotations and project costings
• Compiling heat/load calculations
• Calculating pipe sizes
• Creating and reviewing system specifications and components
• Liaising with suppliers and manufacturers to review specifications
• Assisting with O&M manuals
• Creating BREEAM statements
• Ensuring compliance with current legislation and industry standards
• Supporting the projects team with technical requirements

The ideal applicant will have previous experience within, product engineering, building services, or a similar technical environment. Full support and ongoing development will be provided for the right individual., * Engineering, Electrical or Building Services background within design, applications, sales engineering, or field engineering

• Good computer literacy
• The ability to work to tight deadlines
• High attention to detail
• Self-motivated with the ability to work on your own initiative
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Basic CAD experience IDEAL
• Electrical qualifications or knowledge IDEAL BUT NOT ESSENTIAL
• Applications at a junior level also considered
