Job description
We're currently hiring a student for a 1-year Software Engineer placement at our Head Office in Dunmurry. This role will require occasional travel to stores in Northern Ireland, Southern Ireland and Scotland.
Contract: 25 hours - Monday to Sunday. Applicants will be scheduled for 3 weekday shifts on site (7.5 hours) and required for remote on call support during the weekends (2.5 to 16 hours).
Key Tasks and Duties:
- Write and test code for mobile, desktop and web applications using the following: - VB.NET / ASP.NET - Visual FoxPro - PHP - SQL - Python / Bash / PowerShell
- Maintain existing software systems.
- Maintain and repair computer hardware.
- On call weekend support for all stores (minimum 2.5 hours each weekend).
