Test Systems Development Engineer

Orion is working with a market leader seeking a dedicated and innovative Test Systems Development Engineer to join its team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting cutting-edge test systems and equipment solutions. You will collaborate with various departments and external partners to ensure the successful planning, verification, integration, and deployment of test systems throughout their lifecycle., * Coordinate with engineering design, manufacturing, subcontractors, and suppliers on test system development issues.

• Prepare hardware and software test requirements based on engineering specifications.
• Support the entire development cycle of test systems, from conception to deployment.
• Produce technical proposals, specifications, and comprehensive documentation, including system design, costs, and timelines.
• Design and develop both controlling and monitoring software, as well as hardware components, in line with product specifications.
• Assemble and test hardware prototypes, create testing procedures, and perform verification and commissioning.
• Provide technical support, training, and documentation to other departments, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth operation and maintenance of test equipment.

• Relevant degree in Electronic, Electromechanical, or related Engineering fields.
• Prior experience developing LabVIEW/TestStand applications.
• Experience with test system design, development, and integration.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Good technical knowledge of software applications, processes, products, and hardware architecture (National Instruments / LabVIEW / TestStand / CVI)
