Cybersecurity Consultant - Remediation Vulnerability

• Serve as the primary technical liaison between IT Client Services and Investments
• Track down end users, provide remediation steps for unmanaged applications, and ensure vulnerabilities are resolved.
• Push out bug fixes and patches to resolve issues and improve security posture.
• Coordinate with network, systems, and cloud teams as needed.
• Partner with IT Client Services engineering teams to implement and maintain endpoint security controls, and understand the configuration, packaging, deployment, and maintenance of devices.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents, vulnerabilities, and threats affecting infrastructure and services.
• Work with tools such as BigFix, Rapid7, and CrowdStrike to identify and address vulnerabilities.
• Provide backup support to the Unit Information Security Lead (UISL).
• Coordinate incident response activities and contribute to service restoration efforts; participate in on-call support as required.
• Collaborate with IT asset management and software teams to maintain accurate asset inventory and lifecycle management.
• Ensure timely and high-quality resolution of service requests and incidents through coordination with IT Client Services teams.
• Drive continuous improvement in IT service delivery, operational processes, and security posture.
• Support and secure artificial intelligence systems and continuously evolving agentic workflows, ensuring reliable integration, compliance with security standards, and alignment with organizational IT infrastructure.

• Minimum 7+ years of progressive IT experience, including:
• IT infrastructure (network, systems, cloud, or endpoint environments)
• Cross-functional technical collaboration
• Information security operations

Skills and Abilities

• Strong understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure (networking, systems, cloud platforms, endpoints)
• Experience with IT security tools and frameworks in complex environments
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills across infrastructure and security domains
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders, * Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent experience, * CISSP or equivalent security certification
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (NIST, ISO)
