Job description
The Senior Software developer is a key technical resource responsible for the design, architecture, development, and maintenance of applications, including requirements analysis, customizations, database changes, screen changes, security definition, and workflow. This role converts system requirements into logical program designs, code modules, and stable application systems.
This is a senior-level position that works with a team of technical resources, managers, and engineers to produce innovative solutions. The Senior Salesforce developer collaborates with business analysts and delivery teams in a highly collaborative environment to define product features, estimates and delivers solutions. This person must be able to create and communicate innovative solutions to business issues and processes leveraging their knowledge of the software platform, responsible for assigning resources to specific application design and development tasks.
What You'll Do
- Lead technical development, implementation, administration, and support of the Salesforce CRM platform. Participate in the development and deployment of new features to support business initiatives, playing a leading role in the design of new/improved interfaces and functions within the platform
- Collaborate with other Software Engineers to write and review technical specifications as required, meeting the objectives of functional specifications. Specify, identify specific interfaces, methods, parameters, procedures or functions as required
- Provide advanced code review along with pair programming sessions
- Provide production support for Salesforce/portals including after-hours support when necessary
- Participate in the full SDLC with focus on delivery
Requirements
- 7+ years experience working with Salesforce CRM
- Salesforce Platform Developer II Certification
- Ability to thrive in an environment where change is constant, adjusting to constantly evolving requirements and assigned tasks
Proficiency in a variety of programming related technologies and tools including:
- APEX, AutoRabbit, Git, Mulesoft, Object Orientated design, SOQL/SOSL, Visual Studio Code
- Effective communicator
