Diplomatic Language Services (DLS) began providing foreign language training to Foreign Service Officers and other USG personnel in 1986, and we have continuously expanded our offerings since. Based in Rosslyn/Arlington, DLS is a growing and dynamic organization offering career growth potential. We are currently recruiting a full-time Junior Platform Administrator to start as soon as possible. The Junior Platform Administrator will provide ongoing support to the development and use of our Salesforce.com CRM platform and adjacent systems. This role focuses on operational administration, user support, data hygiene, and documentation. This individual will be responsible for executing the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of our CRM platform. The Junior Platform Administrator will assist in training new users, support user testing efforts, and work with departmental staff to implement approved business process updates within Salesforce and related systems. This individual will work to support our Salesforce Administrator and Director of Technology.
Please note: due to contract stipulations, this candidate must be a US citizen.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Serve as an administrator for the Salesforce.com environment with 40+ CRM users and 500+ community users;
- Handle all basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows, and other routine tasks;
- Resolve Cases created by internal and external users;
- Work with members of the user community to assist with software integration troubleshooting issues (Zoom, Box, LMS, etc.);
- Work with the Salesforce team to establish suitable processes to support administrative, development, and change management activities;
- Communicate development progress with users;
- Assist in training of new users, and grow the Salesforce.com and adjacent platform skill set across the organization;
- Effectively act as the liaison between our users, vendors, and the application development teams;
- Maintain the integrity and accuracy of data in Salesforce by updating and cleansing records according to staff input and established best practices;
- Create and maintain clear, accurate system documentation, process guides, and Salesforce Knowledge Articles to support users and internal teams.
- Maintain post-deployment documentation following Salesforce or system changes.
- Assist the LMS administrator with course content and setup in the LMS platform.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Salesforce Cloud?, * Excellent execution skills and a positive attitude;
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards;
- Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail;
- Must demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills;
- Must demonstrate ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization;
- Ability to gather, clarify, and reconcile user requirements and translate them into effective Salesforce configurations;
- Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce.com and all upstream and downstream applications, systems and processes.
Previous Experience Sought:
- One year of experience as a Salesforce administrator preferred;
- Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption;
- Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality;
- Strong data management abilities;
- A demonstrated ability to complete assigned initiatives and enhancements reliably;
- A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements;
- Previous experience working in a SCRUM or agile environment preferred.
