Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled Windows Systems Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will design, implement, and support enterprise-grade Windows infrastructure, ensuring reliability, performance, and security across systems. You will work both independently and collaboratively to solve complex technical challenges and drive continuous improvements.
Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain Windows Server environments across enterprise infrastructure
Manage and support Active Directory services, including GPOs, DNS, and domain replication
Administer and maintain VMware VCF environments
Develop and maintain advanced PowerShell scripts for automation and operational efficiency
Configure and troubleshoot Windows clustering and high-availability solutions
Manage Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) and patching processes
Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement proactive solutions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure projects
Troubleshoot and resolve complex system-level issues independently
Maintain system documentation and follow operational best practices
Requirements
Associate degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
3+ years of experience as a Windows Systems Engineer or similar role
Strong hands-on expertise with:
Windows Server environments
Active Directory (AD), DNS, Group Policy, replication
PowerShell scripting (advanced level required)
Experience with VMware VCF (VMware Cloud Foundation)
Solid understanding of Windows clustering and WSUS
Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to independently resolve complex technical issues
Ability to work with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively within a team
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with backup solutions (e.g., Veeam, Commvault, etc.)
Experience with enterprise storage solutions
Hands-on experience with server hardware such as:
Dell (iDRAC)
HP (iLO)
Exposure to infrastructure automation and enterprise-scale environments
