Job description
- Design, develop, test, and maintain custom ERP applications and system integrations.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions across multiple teams.
- Build and support REST APIs and application services using modern backend frameworks.
- Troubleshoot production issues, optimize application performance, and support deployment pipelines.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, conduct code reviews, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
- Produce technical documentation and provide mentorship to junior developers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience
- Extensive experience with Progress 4GL and OpenEdge application development
- Strong foundation in object-oriented programming, SQL, and Linux/Unix environments
- Hands-on experience with Progress databases, and OpenEdge Studio, PASOE, WebSpeed
- Proficiency with JavaScript, HTML, CSS and API testing tools
- Familiarity with source control and CI/CD tooling, including GitHub, Azure DevOps and Jenkins
- Solid troubleshooting skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Experience with Kendo UI, .NET, or MS SQL Server is a plus
