Job description
Salesforce Technical Architect, IBM Corporation, Armonk, NY and various unanticipated client sites throughout the US (Up to 100% telecommuting permitted):
- Design and architect innovative, scalable, and secure solutions primarily leveraging the Salesforce platform and various Salesforce Clouds.
- Develop and deliver compelling technical presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts (POCs) that showcase the value of proposed solutions.
- Lead technical discovery sessions and workshops with clients to refine requirements and validate solution designs to develop enterprise-level architecture roadmaps.
- Provide expertise on Salesforce best practices, architecture patterns, and integration strategies within a public sector context.
- Respond to technical sections of Request for Proposals (RFPs) and other procurement documents.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Conduct solution design, architecture, client management, team leadership, strategic planning, and delivery management with oversight of integrations across systems and clouds.

Requirements
Required: Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or related (employer will accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master's degree) and one (1) year of experience as an Application Developer or related. One (1) year of experience must include utilizing Salesforce Multi-Org Strategy and Governance; Solution Design; Agile Methodology; Sprint Planning; User Story Development; Salesforce Apex/ Lighting Web Components (LWC); Salesforce Experience Cloud; Salesforce Service Cloud. $189592 per year.
