We're working closely with a growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) based in Boston that supports a diverse portfolio of clients ranging from small businesses to mid-market organizations across industries such as retail, restaurants, non-profits, and government partners. The organization has grown to 40+ employees and continues to expand its client footprint while investing heavily in its internal team structure, accountability, and long-term growth.
The engineering team works across modern Microsoft cloud environments, supporting a mix of on-premise and cloud infrastructure for a wide range of client environments. Key responsibilities include:
- Administer and support Microsoft 365 environments including user provisioning, licensing, and troubleshooting
- Assist with Azure / Entra ID administration and identity management
- Troubleshoot workstations, networking issues, printers, and end-user devices
- Monitor infrastructure and cloud environments to ensure systems remain operational and secure
- Handle escalated complex issues as the senior engineer while maintaining client ownership
- Maintain accurate documentation, ticket updates, and time tracking within the PSA system
- Collaborate with internal engineers and leadership to resolve issues efficiently
- Contribute to knowledge base documentation and improve internal support processes
Requirements
Successful candidates will have experience working in MSP or multi-client IT support environments and be comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced service environment., * Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments
- Administration experience within the Microsoft ecosystem
- Experience with Azure / Entra ID
- Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows workstations and end-user systems
- Basic networking troubleshooting (DNS, DHCP, connectivity)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users
- Experience working within a ticketing system and maintaining technical documentation
Preferred Skills
- Prior MSP experience a Must
- Experience with ConnectWise
- Familiarity with Cisco Meraki networking
- Microsoft certifications
