Job description

  • Run manual and automated performance and latency tests on Qira devices (PCs, phones, tablets).
  • Execute test plans for coldstart latency, model response times, CPU/GPU load, memory use, battery impact, network conditions, and crossdevice performance.
  • Use monitoring tools, logs, and profiling utilities to collect reliable data from devices.
  • Set up, configure, and maintain device test stations, including OS builds, Qira versions, and test environments.
  • Record, organize, and report performance results to engineering teams in clear, accurate formats.
  • Reproduce reported performance issues and validate performance fixes.
  • Follow structured processes for device flashing, test updates, and controlled testing conditions., * Accurate and consistent performance measurements across devices and builds.
  • Clear reporting of performance changes, trends, and regressions.
  • Stable, reliable test conditions and wellmaintained device setups.
  • Strong collaboration with engineering teams to support performance investigations.

The base salary budgeted range for this position is $115K - $135K. Individuals may also be considered for bonus and/or commission. Lenovo's various benefits can be found on www.lenovobenefits.com. Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience running performance or latency tests on software, mobile devices, or hardware systems.
  • Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering or Technical discipline
  • Experience with Android, Windows, or devicelevel performance tools.
  • Experience following structured test plans and accurately capture numerical results.
  • Experience working handson with devices, cables, builds, and lab equipment.
  • Experience with basic logs, metrics, and debugging steps.
  • Hands-on experience testing AI models, RAG/LLM systems, perception models, or agentic behaviors., * Experience with mobile or PC hardware performance testing.
  • Exposure to AI/ML workloads or latencysensitive applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and clear communication skills.
  • Familiarity with device flashing, ADB, performance profilers, or network throttling tools.
  • Experience working in an engineering lab or device test environment.
