Data Center Specialist

• Implement and maintain virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V to optimize resource utilization.
• Support cloud services integration with platforms like AWS and Azure, ensuring secure and efficient connectivity.
• Configure and troubleshoot operating systems including Windows, Linux, and UNIX environments to resolve technical issues swiftly.
• Develop scripts using Bash, Python, Shell Scripting, or SQL to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.
• Maintain system security by managing VPNs, firewalls, APIs, and applying best practices for data protection.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies to support software development life cycle (SDLC) projects involving DevOps practices.
• Perform regular system updates, patches, backups, and disaster recovery procedures to safeguard data integrity.
• Monitor system performance metrics; analyze logs; troubleshoot hardware/software failures promptly.
• Document procedures, configurations, and incident reports meticulously for compliance and knowledge sharing.

Do you have experience in Remote access management?, * Proven experience managing IT infrastructure within a data center environment.

• Strong knowledge of VMware virtualization technologies along with experience in operating systems such as Windows Server, Linux, and UNIX.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms including AWS and Azure; understanding of cloud architecture is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash (Unix shell), Shell Scripting, or SQL for automation tasks.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and practices; familiarity with APIs for system integration is a plus.
• Understanding of network security protocols including VPNs; ability to configure firewalls and manage secure access points.
• Knowledge of SDLC processes; experience working within Agile teams on IT projects involving Java or other programming languages is advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues quickly and effectively.
