Job description
Description: Insight Global is searching for a Solution Architect to support one of our top financial services clients in Newark, DE. This architect will own end-to-end solution design, oversee critical integrations, and provide technical leadership across cloud, data, and application architecture efforts. They will partner with credit executives and business leaders to design scalable, secure solutions across multiple enterprise initiatives, ensuring alignment with a TOGAF-based enterprise architecture framework. The role includes overseeing integrations with Experian, TransUnion, and Equifax and supporting reliable API integrations using MuleSoft, while collaborating with data engineering teams to pull and model data from Snowflake and drive modernization toward AWS, SageMaker, and Python-based workflows. The architect will apply foundational data science and ML concepts to support credit-strategy modeling, guide development teams, and design cloud architectures in AWS. They will conduct architecture reviews, assess risks, document key decisions, and establish standards and best practices while supporting project teams throughout the development lifecycle to ensure long-term scalability, maintainability, and architectural consistency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
- 8-10+ years of experience in a Solution Architect role or master's degree with 5-10+ years of experience at an enterprise level
- Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture concepts (TOGAF preferred)
- Experience managing 3-4 concurrent, enterprise-level cloud-based solutions while working cross-functionally with business teams, senior leadership, and C-suite stakeholders
- Experience integrating with credit bureaus (Experian, TransUnion, Equifax), understanding how those integrations work, and how credit strategies/rules are applied to support credit decisioning
- Experience with API integrations (MuleSoft preferred)
- Exposure to data science concepts, AI/ML models, and modeling techniques; experience with Python or R and comfort working with Cortex AI environments
- Ability to pull data (Snowflake preferred), build data pipelines, and model changes to credit strategies. Familiarity with SAS, Excel, and modernizing toward AWS/SageMaker, Python, and Snowflake-based workflows
- Development background using C#/.NET preferred - Java or python also applicable
- Experience creating cloud-based solutions in AWS preferred- Azure or GCP also applicable
