Job description

In light of current internal business pressures, priority consideration will be given to qualified candidates who are currently affiliated with the Enterprise Operations' EBDT (Enterprise Business & Digital Transformation) organization.

This position is for a Data Engineer within the Lockheed Martin Chief Data and Analytics Office (CDAO) supporting Space System's Business Innovation, Transformation and Enterprise Excellence (BITEE) Organization - Data & Analytics COE. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to work in a fast-paced data organization where the latest technologies will be developed and applied.

We are looking for someone with experience in all layers of data integration and analytics to support our various efforts. The ideal candidate has experience and a solid understanding of delivering full-stack data solutions across the entire data processing pipeline., Exhibit a degree of ingenuity, creativity, proactiveness, and resourcefulness when collecting, processing, and making data available for analysis while working within an agile environment

  • Collaborate across Business Transformation to strategize and implement common business processes and systems design for Data Warehouse & Analytics

  • Work through all stages of data pipeline to discover, analyze, model, digest, clean, curate, secure, aggregate, and catalog unorganized & organized data at scale and at speed

  • Develop solutions across data fabric for interoperability between current and emerging technologies in alignment with Space and Enterprise reference architectures

Requirements

SAP Hana Model development and migration

  • SAP Data service (BODS) development

  • SQL scripting and application lifecycle management

-Knowledge with structured and unstructured data in relational or NoSQL databases

  • Develop Oracle and SQL stored procedure

Knowledge of software engineering and building data pipeline automations using GIT & Gitlab

  • US Citizenship

Desired Skills:

Technical

  • Experience with SAP HANA including calculation view modeling and performance optimization

  • Data modeling experience using tools like Erwin

  • Knowledge on Cloud Pak for Data (CP4D)

  • Knowledge of ERP, MES, or PLM systems

  • Demonstrated SAP HANA and Data Services hands on knowledge
  • Proven SAP Functional ERP knowledge/experience
  • Strong Knowledge on Cloud pak for Data (CP4D)
  • Hands on ci/cd pipeline using git repository
  • Demonstrated process automation experience
  • Excellent SQL and Debugging skills
  • Experience in Python, Java, Azure will be a plus

General

  • Demonstrated experience working with technical teams

  • Demonstrated Data engineering and Architecture experience developing complex technical solutions

  • Demonstrated change and incident management experience for organization

  • Demonstrated experience working projects across dispersed geographical locations

  • Strong organization, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage priorities

  • Demonstrated business acumen and ability to balance technical requirements with business needs

  • Demonstrated experience with Agile Release and Sprint planning

  • Proven experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies/techniques

  • Experience with Agile Tool Suites (JIRA preferred)

  • Excellent communication skills, ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $107,300 - $185,840. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $93,200 - $164,450. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
