Job description
We are seeking an experienced RH OpenShift GitOps (ArgoCD) Senior Consultant to support enterprise Kubernetes and DevOps initiatives focused on Red Hat OpenShift and GitOps automation. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in OpenShift administration, ArgoCD-based deployment automation, CI/CD implementation, and Kubernetes platform engineering in large-scale enterprise environments. This role requires a consultant who can architect, implement, and optimize GitOps workflows while collaborating with development, infrastructure, security, and operations teams to modernize application delivery and platform management., * Design, implement, and manage GitOps workflows using ArgoCD within Red Hat OpenShift environments.
- Deploy and maintain Kubernetes/OpenShift applications using GitOps best practices.
- Configure and manage CI/CD pipelines integrating tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Tekton, or GitHub Actions.
- Automate application deployment, configuration management, and infrastructure provisioning.
- Manage OpenShift clusters, namespaces, RBAC, secrets, Operators, Helm charts, and Kustomize configurations.
- Collaborate with development and platform teams to improve deployment reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.
- Support multi-cluster deployment strategies and enterprise container platform initiatives.
- Troubleshoot deployment, networking, synchronization, and cluster-related issues.
- Implement security, compliance, and governance controls within Kubernetes/OpenShift environments.
- Create technical documentation, deployment standards, and operational runbooks.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to engineering teams on GitOps and container platform best practices.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP).
- Deep expertise with ArgoCD and GitOps methodologies.
- Strong Kubernetes administration and troubleshooting experience.
- Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency with Helm, Kustomize, YAML, and container technologies such as Docker or Podman.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Knowledge of Linux systems administration and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience with enterprise security practices, RBAC, and secrets management.
- Strong communication and client-facing consulting skills.
