Job description

Our client is looking for a Data Analyst to support projects involving asset lifecycle data, materials management, and policy-related datasets. This role will contribute to a focused project workstream, supporting delivery through data-driven insights and reporting.

You will collaborate closely with a designated team lead, assisting in the execution of daily activities and ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks. The role involves gathering and interpreting data from multiple sources to generate meaningful analysis, performance indicators, and client-ready outputs., * Support a specific project workstream and report directly to its lead

  • Assist in the coordination and execution of ongoing project activities
  • Gather, organise, and interpret data from varied sources
  • Develop metrics, summaries, and analytical outputs to inform decision-making
  • Produce clear and concise deliverables for stakeholders

Requirements

  • Current and valid U.S. Secret-level security clearance (DoD or Federal)
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • At least 3 years of experience in a data analysis role
  • Ability to work on-site at a client location in the Tidewater region 2-3 days per week

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Background in delivering solutions within defence, government, or commercial sectors
  • Experience transforming data into reports, dashboards, or visual insights
  • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to communicate findings effectively
  • Hands-on experience with at least one data visualisation platform (e.g., Qlik or similar tools)
  • Familiarity with statistical or quantitative analysis techniques such as regression, simulation, or performance analysis
  • Exposure to Microsoft Power Platform tools (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate)
  • Understanding of naval operations or logistics systems is advantageous
