Your Impact

The Lead Analyst, Seller Insights will conduct focus groups and interviews, lead the annual seller satisfaction survey, synthesize qualitative and quantitative feedback, and identify key themes, pain points, and recommendations. This role will partner cross-functionally on seller initiatives to ensure the seller voice is captured and incorporated into decisions, process improvements, communications, and the overall marketplace strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead seller insights efforts through focus groups, interviews, feedback sessions, and other research touchpoints across the seller lifecycle.
  • Proactively engage sellers to gather feedback on key experiences, including onboarding, item setup, operations, growth opportunities, and the overall marketplace experience.
  • Drive the annual seller satisfaction survey, including planning, execution, analysis, and synthesis of key findings.
  • Identify themes, pain points, trends, and opportunities from qualitative and quantitative seller feedback, translating them into actionable insights.
  • Partner cross-functionally on seller initiatives to ensure the seller voice is captured, represented, and incorporated into decisions, process improvements, and communications.
  • Create clear recaps, summaries, and readouts from seller conversations, surveys, and feedback channels to inform strategy and improve the seller experience.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Merchandising, Analytics, Consumer Research, Computer Science, Marketing, Business Operations, or a related field, or equivalent years of experience in lieu of the education requirement, if applicable.
  • 6-7 years of experience in online/retail merchandising or business operations.

Preferred Skills/Education

  • Experience in customer, seller, merchant, vendor, or user insights, preferably in a marketplace, retail, e-commerce, or digital business environment.
  • Strong ability to conduct qualitative research, including interviews, focus groups, feedback sessions, and open-ended discovery conversations.
  • Experience developing surveys, analyzing results, and synthesizing quantitative and qualitative feedback into clear themes and recommendations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create concise recaps, executive summaries, and actionable readouts.
  • MBA or Master's degree in Marketing Research, Analytics, Merchandising, Computer Science, Marketing, Business Operations, or a related field.
