Job description

The Senior Adobe Audience Developer is responsible for designing, building, optimizing, and maintaining advanced audience segments within Adobe Experience Platform to support marketing activation, personalization, and journey orchestration. This role focuses on developing efficient, reusable, and scalable audiences by leveraging deep expertise in AXP data models, segmentation capabilities, and best-practice architecture. The Senior Adobe Audience Developer collaborates with marketing, data, and engineering teams to ensure audience logic is accurate, aligned to business objectives, and optimized for performance. While AXP is the primary platform, experience with Unica, MDM, and MDP is valuable for cross-system alignment and legacy workflow validation.

Requirements

  • Extensive hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Platform, especially advanced segmentation and profile data modeling
  • Ability to design and develop complex audiences that are efficient, reusable, and scalable
  • Strong understanding of identity resolution, profile stitching, and data ingestion processes
  • Ability to interpret business and marketing requirements and translate them into precise audience logic
  • Experience working with customer data platforms and activation workflows
  • Strong attention to detail and proficiency in validating audience outputs
  • Effective communication and documentation skills, with the ability to explain complex logic to non-technical stakeholders

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience with Unica, Master Data Management (MDM), or Marketing Data Platforms (MDP)
  • Experience with SQL or similar data query languages
  • Understanding of cross-platform campaign management and orchestration workflows
  • Exposure to data governance, privacy compliance, or audience taxonomy best practices
  • Experience with additional CDP, marketing automation, or analytics tools
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and collaborative development processes
