Job description
The Senior Full Stack Developer designs, builds, and maintains production-grade analytics and AI-powered software applications used by business and executive stakeholders. This role owns the full application lifecycle-from front-end user interfaces and interactive data visualizations to backend services, data integrations, and cloud-based AI capabilities.
This position emphasizes hands-on full stack development, application performance, reliability, and usability. The developer partners closely with business stakeholders, data engineering, and IT teams to translate complex health and wellness data into scalable software products, including internal applications, dashboards, and AI-enabled decision-support tools.
Responsibilities:
- Own the product lifecycle for analytics software applications, including:
- requirements gathering with business and IT partners
- creation of technical specifications
- coordination with IT teams on infrastructure, security, and deployment.
- Design, develop, and maintain full stack analytics applications, including:
- front-end interfaces
- backend logic
- data integrations
- cloud-based services.
- Develop functional, responsive front-end application interfaces by translating approved UX designs and wireframes into production-ready code.
- Design and document UI/UX mockups and wireframes for new application features, collaborating with stakeholders to validate requirements prior to development.
- Build custom interactive application components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and visualization libraries (Chart.js, D3.js, Plotly) where packaged BI solutions do not meet product requirements.
- Design, develop, and optimize Tableau dashboards as production analytics applications, including:
- executive KPI reporting
- operational metrics
- performance optimization.
- Design and maintain SQL-based data services and views in Amazon Redshift Serverless to support application features and analytics functionality across multiple data domains.
- Design and implement AI-powered application features using AWS Bedrock, including:
- case summarization
- natural language query interfaces
- user-facing automation tools.
- Manage source control, release documentation, and change tracking for applications and analytics products using GitLab-based workflows.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience building and supporting production software applications, including full stack or application-focused engineering roles.
- Strong experience designing and implementing user-facing web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Demonstrated experience developing analytics-driven applications, dashboards, or internal tools used by business or executive stakeholders.
- Expert-level experience developing and optimizing Tableau dashboards used in production environments, including:
- advanced calculations
- performance tuning
- publishing
- data source management.
- Proficiency building custom interactive application components using charting and visualization libraries such as Chart.js, D3.js, or Plotly.
- Advanced SQL skills, including:
- complex joins
- window functions
- CTEs
- query optimization on large datasets.
- Intermediate to advanced Python experience, including:
- scripting
- API integration
- automation
- data processing
- Experience integrating cloud-based services or APIs into applications (AWS experience preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to gather requirements and produce technical specifications for cross-functional teams.
- Strong version control experience using Git-based workflows (GitLab or GitHub).
- Experience diagnosing and tunning SQL queries.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to foresee how changes impact the entire ecosystem.

- Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.

- or similar analytics and AI services.
- Experience implementing LLM-powered or AI-enabled features within software applications, including:
- prompt design
- natural language interfaces.
- Experience building internal software tools and applications beyond traditional dashboards or reporting solutions.
- Familiarity with analytics engineering concepts such as:
- dimensional modeling
- domain-based schema design
- dbt-based workflows.
- Exposure to workflow orchestration or scheduling tools such as:
- Airflow
- Dagster
- or similar platforms.
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and GitLab-based version control workflows supporting application development and deployment.
- Strong UX/UI sensibility with the ability to design data-driven applications that are intuitive, usable, and visually clean.
- Product ownership or project management experience supporting the delivery of internal software applications.
- Experience collaborating with IT teams on:
- application deployment
- security reviews
- infrastructure-related coordination.
