Job description

  • Build and lead the organization's internal IT capability, establishing structure, priorities, and standards to support continued expansion.

  • Direct the evaluation, selection, implementation, and integration of core business platforms in collaboration with business leaders and external technology partners.

  • Manage relationships with outsourced IT providers while defining a long-term plan to develop stronger internal technical capabilities.

  • Create and execute an IT roadmap covering infrastructure, network architecture, systems reliability, and security across the business.

  • Support the day-to-day technology needs of a growing manufacturing operation, including coordination across multiple facilities and teams.

  • Partner with leaders across operations and other functions to ensure technology decisions advance business goals and scale effectively with growth.

  • Develop practical IT processes and governance that improve efficiency, consistency, and operational readiness as the organization expands.

Requirements

  • Provide hands-on leadership for technical issues, system improvements, and implementation efforts while planning for future-state technology needs. Requirements * At least 7 years of experience in information technology leadership, with a strong record of increasing responsibility.

  • Demonstrated success building, formalizing, or leading an IT function within a manufacturing, industrial, or similarly operations-driven environment.

  • Strong expertise in infrastructure, networking, systems integration, and core enterprise technology support.

  • Experience leading enterprise system evaluation and implementation initiatives, including coordination with vendors and internal stakeholders.

  • Ability to balance strategic planning with direct execution in a fast-paced, high-growth setting.

  • Proficiency with technologies such as Active Directory, backup solutions, Cisco-based environments, computer hardware, and configuration management.

  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.

  • Experience supporting multi-site operations or rapidly scaling facilities is strongly preferred.
