IT Project Manager -Capital Markets Billing System

A global bank is seeking an IT Project Manager to coordinate IT related tasks for a Global Markets Front to Back project related to Debt Capital Markets (Billing and Delivery). The Project Manager - Debt Capital Markets Billing and Delivery will report to the Global Markets IT manager, and collaborate with IT business analysts and IT Developers in Global Markets IT Pre Trade team, Global Markets IT Booking & Post Trade team, Head Office Client IT team, and the business stakeholders (Front office syndication, sales, traders, client onboarding...).

Manage the entire remining project lifecycle through implementation.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Planning, Monitoring and collaboration: maintain the project plan, and enforce change control.
• Be the gatekeeper of any new requirements and assess impact on project plan.
• Coordinate testing phases between IT teams and keep track of bug defects
• Monitoring and control: track progress and dependencies, and adjust plans as needed

Reporting

• Communicate status of IT project plan to Program Manager
• Update IT project status in Jira Structure (Project Management tool) and Head Office Project Management tool

Budget:

• Track the budget related to IT resources, in collaboration with IT managers
• Documentation: maintain auditable project artifacts
• Delivery readiness and handover: ensure readiness for next phases, coordinate rollout and production readiness, and hand over to operations.
• Closure and lessons: obtain sign-off, capture lessons learned, and archive documentation.

• Experience in the Finance/Banking industry and IT, including Business Analysis, IT development and project management work
• Agile or PMP Experience - Financial IT project management * Jira & Agile Scrum experience - 5-9 years of experience:

Education: Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Business Administration, or other related discipline.
