Senior System Engineer

• Lead system-level engineering activities across the full product lifecycle, including concept development, design, integration, testing, and support
• Translate customer specifications into system and subsystem requirements, ensuring alignment with performance, cost, and schedule constraints
• Drive system architecture development and perform trade studies to evaluate design alternatives
• Support system integration, verification, and validation activities, including development of test plans and success criteria
• Conduct functional analysis, requirements allocation, and interface definition across hardware and software components
• Contribute to risk assessments, cost analysis, and overall system effectiveness evaluations
• Manage configuration processes and ensure traceability of requirements throughout development
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and program teams to ensure successful execution

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related STEM field with 5+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience
• Experience working with embedded or real-time systems in a complex engineering environment
• Strong background in systems engineering methodologies, including requirements development and system integration
• U.S. Citizenship required (due to ITAR requirements)
• Ability to work onsite in Vergennes, VT, * Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and methodologies
• Familiarity with tools such as SysML and Simulink
• Background in aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated industries
