Job description

We are seeking a Software Development Engineer II to join a team focused on building and scaling cloud-based compliance and data solutions. This role centers on designing and developing systems using AWS services, with an emphasis on security, automation, and intelligent data processing. You will work on high-impact tools that support data governance, regulatory compliance, and secure operations in a large-scale environment., * Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native compliance tools using AWS

  • Integrate and build solutions leveraging services such as Amazon S3, DynamoDB, AWS KMS, AWS IAM, and others as needed
  • Implement secure data handling practices aligned with industry standards
  • Develop solutions utilizing natural language processing capabilities, including translation and text analysis
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
  • Participate in code reviews and uphold engineering best practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 3 or more years of professional software development experience
  • Strong experience working with AWS services and cloud-based architectures
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python; Java or JavaScript are also acceptable
  • Demonstrated experience owning features from design through deployment
  • Understanding of security best practices and exposure to compliance concepts

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Amazon Connect, AWS Translate, or AWS Comprehend
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOX, HIPAA, or GDPR
  • Experience working with production systems and CI/CD pipelines
  • Exposure to serverless architecture
  • AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect or Developer
