Job description
We are seeking a Software Engineer to support the development and integration of software for factory test systems used in weapon system production. This is a hands-on, onsite role in Tucson where you will contribute directly to building reliable, production-ready test capabilities that ensure product quality and performance.
In this role, you will develop applications, libraries, and instrument drivers while troubleshooting system issues and collaborating closely with cross-functional engineering teams. Your work will play a critical role in enabling efficient and scalable manufacturing test solutions., * Design, develop, and maintain software applications, libraries, and instrument drivers for factory test systems
- Integrate software with automated test equipment (ATE) and hardware systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve software and instrumentation issues in an engineering and production environment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, systems, and manufacturing engineers
- Support the deployment and continuous improvement of production test solutions
- Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements through validation and release

Requirements

- Strong troubleshooting skills in software and hardware-integrated environments

- Familiarity with:
- Automated Test Equipment (ATE)
- Instrument drivers and hardware/software integration
- Understanding of test automation frameworks and practices
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and navigate process-driven environments
