ERP & Business Operations Manager

Water Inc. is a distributor and manufacturer of high-quality filtered drinking water systems, established in 1977 and serving the Western United States. We're modernizing our operations and looking for a sharp, hands-on systems and operations person to own the day-to-day running of our business.

This role sits at the center of how the business runs. You'll own our ERP system, Prophet21, drive process improvement across order management, inventory, and purchasing, and help us build the operational infrastructure we need to grow. If you're the kind of person who looks at a broken workflow and can't help but fix it, this is your role.

What you'll own:

Day-to-day ERP operations including order flow, inventory management, pricing, purchasing, and reporting. You'll be the internal expert on how P21 works and how it should work, and you'll be the person who closes the gap between those two things. You'll also help us evaluate how modern tools, including AI, can make our systems smarter and our team more effective.

On the financial side, you don't need to be a CPA, but you need to understand how the numbers flow. Bank reconciliation, inventory adjustments, vendor payments, and month-end support are part of the scope. A fractional controller will handles the oversight; you make sure the data they're looking at is clean and accurate and help produce reports.

Do you have experience in SAP?, Someone with 5 to 10 years of experience who has genuinely owned an ERP system at a distribution, wholesale, or product-based company. P21 experience is a real advantage. NetSuite, SAP, or a comparable distribution ERP. You've built SOPs, improved processes, and pushed people to use systems the right way. You are fluent with CRMs. You're comfortable in a small company where your work is visible and your ideas actually get heard., * ERP systems: 1 year (Preferred)
