Net/SQL Developer

Insight Global is looking for a backend-focused .NET Developer to support, maintain, and enhance business-critical applications built on the Microsoft .NET stack. This role is heavily production support focused, responsible for L2 L3 troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolving issues across .NET applications and SQL Server environments. The candidate will independently investigate tickets from a large backlog, prioritize critical system outages, and deliver quick, short-term fixes without reworking architecture, following full lifecycle processes through QA validation and production deployment. Day-to-day includes writing and optimizing SQL queries, stored procedures, and views, monitoring application performance, and collaborating with BAs, POs, and technical teams to resolve issues. The environment is fast-paced with minimal training, requiring someone who has built .NET applications from scratch, understands C# code deeply, and has experience handling both support and minor enhancements. This is not a customer-facing role but requires strong ownership, as this person will act as a key escalation point for production issues while helping reduce a growing backlog.

3+ years .NET Framework or .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET, Web API

-3+ years SQL Server, T-SQL, stored procedures, performance tuning

-Experience with L2 L3 production support, troubleshooting, root cause analysis

-IIS configuration, Windows Server support

-Debugging, logging, application monitoring tools

-REST APIs, system integrations

-Git, Azure DevOps -Manufacturing or Telecomm experience
