Job description

We are seeking a Mechanical or Agricultural Engineer to support product design, testing, manufacturing process improvement, and engineering analysis activities for projects of moderate scope. This role works closely with cross-functional teams in a collaborative manufacturing environment and contributes to design reviews, feasibility studies, process improvements, and technical documentation., * Support product design, testing, and engineering analysis activities

  • Analyze manufacturing and material processes to improve quality, efficiency, and cost performance
  • Develop and execute feasibility testing for engineering solutions
  • Assist in creating and maintaining engineering standards, specifications, and technical documentation
  • Participate in design reviews and provide input on engineering solutions
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and support change management initiatives
  • Coordinate assigned project tasks and support project execution activities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and engineering groups
  • Conduct inspections and recommend corrective actions when needed
  • Maintain knowledge of relevant technologies, engineering standards, and industry practices

Requirements

Do you have experience in PDM software?, * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Agricultural Engineering

  • Recent graduates with relevant internship or project experience are welcome to apply
  • Experience with Creo
  • Experience with PDM systems, preferably Windchill
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with SAP
  • Experience working with machinery, heavy equipment, or manufacturing processes
  • Exposure to engineering testing, validation, or process improvement activities

Work Environment

  • Fully onsite position
  • Manufacturing/shop-floor environment
  • Business casual dress code
  • Less than 10% travel within nearby facilities and Midwest locations
  • Candidates must be comfortable working in a factory setting
  • Metatarsal safety boots required on the first day
