Job description
We are seeking a Mechanical or Agricultural Engineer to support product design, testing, manufacturing process improvement, and engineering analysis activities for projects of moderate scope. This role works closely with cross-functional teams in a collaborative manufacturing environment and contributes to design reviews, feasibility studies, process improvements, and technical documentation., * Support product design, testing, and engineering analysis activities
- Analyze manufacturing and material processes to improve quality, efficiency, and cost performance
- Develop and execute feasibility testing for engineering solutions
- Assist in creating and maintaining engineering standards, specifications, and technical documentation
- Participate in design reviews and provide input on engineering solutions
- Identify process improvement opportunities and support change management initiatives
- Coordinate assigned project tasks and support project execution activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and engineering groups
- Conduct inspections and recommend corrective actions when needed
- Maintain knowledge of relevant technologies, engineering standards, and industry practices
Requirements
Do you have experience in PDM software?, * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Agricultural Engineering
- Recent graduates with relevant internship or project experience are welcome to apply
- Experience with Creo
- Experience with PDM systems, preferably Windchill
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with SAP
- Experience working with machinery, heavy equipment, or manufacturing processes
- Exposure to engineering testing, validation, or process improvement activities
Work Environment
- Fully onsite position
- Manufacturing/shop-floor environment
- Business casual dress code
- Less than 10% travel within nearby facilities and Midwest locations
- Candidates must be comfortable working in a factory setting
- Metatarsal safety boots required on the first day
