Systems Engineer II - Intl Brazil

Insight Global is seeking a Systems Engineer II to support a large-scale IT infrastructure environment within the logistics and technology industry. This engineer will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing a heavily on-prem environment while contributing to modernization and cloud migration efforts. The ideal candidate thrives in complex, legacy environments and brings strong automation experience to help drive efficiency and scalability. This is a hands-on role requiring both operational excellence and forward-thinking improvements across infrastructure, systems, and cloud strategy.

5-7 years of Systems Engineering experience

-Strong Microsoft ecosystem expertise (Windows Server, AD, Azure AD)

-Experience with virtualization (Hyper-V preferred, VMware acceptable)

-Experience managing large-scale infrastructure (hundreds of servers)

-Strong experience with: Windows AND Linux systems, Active Directory / identity tools, Patch management & vulnerability remediation

-Automation experience: Terraform preferred, or PowerShell scripting

-Experience in on-prem data centers + infrastructure environments

-Strong communication skills -AWS or cloud migration experience

-Experience modernizing legacy environments

-Experience with RDS / VDI environments

-Networking (Layer 2/3), SQL Server, SD-WAN

-Experience with Intune or config management tools

-Exposure to infrastructure-as-code and AI-driven automation initiatives
