Job description
- Fully hands-on role, no people management involved
- As a Senior Data Quality Engineer, you will design and implement automated testing frameworks that ensure data reliability across ingestion and transformation pipelines.
- This is a hands?on engineering role focused on automation, not manual QA.
- You will work closely with Data Engineers to validate data as it moves through Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers and embed testing into CI/CD workflows.
- This role is critical to improving trust, consistency, and scalability across the firm's data platform.
Requirements
- Experience building automated data testing frameworks
- 5+ years of experience in data quality
- Strong Python and SQL skills (both required)
- Hands?on experience with at least one data quality tool:
- Great Expectations / dbt tests / Databricks DQX
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related fields
