Job description
We are seeking a Senior Platform Architect to serve as a key technical and strategic leader responsible for designing, documenting, and optimizing enterprise-scale platform architectures. This role will support digital transformation, operational efficiency, modernization, and interoperability across complex enterprise systems., Enterprise Architecture & Strategy
- Design and govern end-to-end enterprise platform architectures across platforms such as Azure, AWS, Oracle, Salesforce, MuleSoft, ServiceNow, and related enterprise technologies.
- Lead architecture blueprinting and solution design sessions focused on scalability, interoperability, sustainability, and modernization.
- Establish architectural standards, reusable frameworks, and design patterns to support enterprise-wide transformation initiatives.
- Partner with Product Owners, Solution Architects, and Delivery Managers to ensure architecture aligns with program-level goals.
- Business Process Documentation & Optimization
- Analyze, document, and optimize business processes using BPMN, UML, or equivalent modeling standards.
- Develop detailed as-is and to-be process documentation to streamline workflows, reduce redundancies, and improve cross-functional alignment.
- Work with business analysts and operations teams to identify process gaps and define measurable optimization KPIs.
- Support process automation, workflow orchestration, and data-driven optimization initiatives.
Technical Leadership & Implementation
- Provide architectural oversight across the full SDLC, from requirements gathering through deployment and post-implementation review.
- Define integration patterns, data flow diagrams, API strategies, and system interoperability approaches.
- Drive modernization initiatives using microservices, containerization, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Evaluate and recommend technologies, frameworks, and design patterns aligned with business strategy, compliance needs, and cost efficiency.
Governance, Security & Compliance
- Ensure solution designs align with security, privacy, and compliance frameworks such as HIPAA, NIST, SOC 2, GDPR, or similar standards.
- Conduct architecture reviews, impact assessments, and governance checkpoints for proposed platform changes.
- Champion data integrity, scalability, performance, reliability, and maintainability across platform components.
Stakeholder Management
- Serve as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders, project leadership, and technical teams.
- Prepare architecture roadmaps, technical documentation, design artifacts, and executive-level presentations.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in enterprise architecture, business process documentation, cloud platforms, integration frameworks, and platform modernization. This role requires the ability to work closely with business stakeholders, enterprise architects, product owners, and technical teams to translate business needs into scalable, secure, and compliant platform solutions., * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in enterprise architecture, solution design, and system integration.
- Strong experience with business process documentation, process re-engineering, and optimization.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, ARIS, Bizagi, or similar process modeling tools.
- Strong expertise with one or more cloud ecosystems, including Azure, AWS, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, or Salesforce.
- Experience with integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Oracle Integration Cloud, or Azure Integration Services.
- Strong understanding of data architecture, microservices, API management, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience implementing DevOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure-as-Code using tools such as Azure DevOps, Terraform, ARM templates, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
- Experience working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, SAFe Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Oracle Cloud Architect.
- Experience supporting public-sector modernization programs or highly regulated environments.
- Familiarity with enterprise ERP/CRM ecosystems such as Dynamics 365, Oracle Fusion, or Salesforce.
- Exposure to AI/ML, data analytics, or process mining for business process optimization., The ideal candidate is a senior-level architect with strong experience in enterprise platform architecture, business process optimization, cloud integration, API strategy, DevOps, and compliance-driven modernization programs. This person should be comfortable working across business and technical teams and capable of guiding enterprise-scale transformation initiatives from strategy through implementation.
