Job description
Primary Skills: Jamf Pro, Intune, Apple Business Manager, macOS Administration, Scripting & Automation, We are seeking an experienced and technically strong Mac Build and Deployment Engineer to support the engineering, deployment, standardization, and lifecycle management of enterprise macOS devices. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Apple endpoint management, automation, deployment solutions, and enterprise device administration within a corporate environment., Design, maintain, and optimize standardized macOS build and deployment solutions.
Manage the complete lifecycle of Mac devices including provisioning, enrollment, configuration, software deployment, patching, refresh, and retirement.
Administer Apple device management platforms such as Jamf Pro, Microsoft Intune, Kandji, or similar tools.
Develop and maintain scripting and automation solutions using Bash, Shell, Python, or similar technologies.
Support Apple Business Manager, Automated Device Enrollment, and zero-touch deployment processes.
Implement secure baseline configurations aligned with organizational security and compliance standards.
Plan and execute OS upgrades, security patches, and application deployments with minimal business disruption.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex deployment, configuration, and integration issues related to macOS devices.
Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, IAM, Networking, and Service Desk teams for seamless endpoint integration.
Maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, runbooks, and knowledge base articles.
Monitor endpoint health, compliance, deployment performance, and recommend continuous improvements.
Requirements
Do you have experience in macOS administration?, 3-5 years of experience in macOS administration, endpoint engineering, or enterprise device deployment.
Strong hands-on experience with Jamf Pro, Microsoft Intune, Kandji, Workspace ONE, or equivalent MDM platforms.
Expertise in Apple Business Manager, Automated Device Enrollment, VPP, and modern macOS management practices.
Experience with scripting and automation using Bash, Shell, or Python.
Strong understanding of macOS packaging, software deployment, patch management, and OS lifecycle management.
Experience integrating Mac devices with Entra ID, Okta, Active Directory, or similar identity platforms.
Knowledge of endpoint security, encryption, compliance enforcement, and device hardening.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting large-scale enterprise Mac environments.
Exposure to infrastructure automation and CI/CD deployment workflows.
Understanding of networking, VPN, Wi-Fi configuration, and certificate-based authentication.
Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks.
Certifications such as Jamf Certified Tech/Admin or Apple platform certifications are preferred.
Education:-
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field preferred.
Equivalent practical experience may also be considered.
