Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree and 7+ years of experience designing and implementing agentic AI systems for coordinated workflow automation OR Master's Degree and 5+ years of experience OR 3+ years and PhD
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#, and experience with AI / ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)
Nice to Have
- Experience architecting and deploying generative AI platforms for enterprise operations, leveraging multi-agent orchestration, tool-integration frameworks, and modular AI components
- Proven history of designing and engineering AI solutions that coordinate across multiple digital services and tools to solve complex operational challenges
- Ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements, enabling effective adoption of AI solutions across the enterprise
- Experience developing secure, scalable, and maintainable APIs for AI and enterprise system integration
- Familiarity with integrating AI solutions with facility management platforms (e.g., CMMS, BMS, IoT devices)
- Background in building digital platforms with strong front-end development and user experience (UX) focus (e.g., Streamlit)
- Exposure to advanced analytics, data modeling, and cloud platforms (e.g., SQL, Azure, Snowflake)
- Strong communication skills, self-motivation, attention to detail, and a passion for innovation and continuous learning
For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$152,800.00 - $229,200.00
This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
