Job description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Specialist to support manufacturing operations in the west metro, Minnesota by maintaining reliable product and production data. This position plays an important role in keeping core system information accurate and consistent so teams across planning, purchasing, operations, and finance can work from dependable records. The ideal candidate brings strong data entry capabilities, manufacturing familiarity, and a disciplined approach to data quality and governance., * Create and update item master records with a high level of accuracy to support daily business operations.

  • Maintain bills of material, routings, and related system records within their ERP to reflect current production requirements.

  • Review submitted data for completeness and correctness before entry, resolving discrepancies with internal stakeholders as needed.

  • Partner with teams across multiple manufacturing sites to ensure shared data standards are followed consistently.

  • Monitor master data quality and make corrections that protect the integrity of planning, procurement, shop floor, and financial processes.

  • Apply established governance practices to keep system information organized, controlled, and dependable.

  • Support ongoing improvements to data maintenance procedures and help strengthen consistency across the organization.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in data entry, master data support, or a related administrative role.

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment and understanding how production data supports operations.

  • Ability to enter, update, and validate data accurately while managing a high volume of records.

  • Familiarity with item masters, bills of material, routings, or similar structured operational data.

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify inconsistencies or missing information.

  • Effective communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments and locations.
