Job description

Program Leadership & Strategy

  • Lead end-to-end program strategy, planning, execution, and governance across multiple workstreams.
  • Define program vision, business outcomes, success metrics, KPIs, and roadmaps.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and impacts across cross-functional teams and technology platforms.
  • Drive alignment between business, technology, product, architecture, and operations groups.

Planning, Execution & Delivery

  • Develop detailed program plans, schedules, milestones, and resource allocations.
  • Ensure on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery of all program components.
  • Manage large-scale transformation initiatives such as cloud migration, modernization, AI/ML adoption, digital transformation, SRE/DevOps implementation, etc.
  • Oversee project managers and technical leads to ensure consistency in execution and reporting.

Governance & Reporting

  • Establish strong program governance including steering committees, executive updates, and status dashboards.
  • Create structured reporting for leadership on risks, issues, decisions, progress, and financial tracking.
  • Implement and enforce PMO methodologies such as Agile, SAFe, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid models., * Collaborate with senior executives, engineering leads, and business partners to ensure alignment.
  • Facilitate decision-making, remove blockers, and resolve conflicts across teams.
  • Communicate program updates clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Manage vendor relationships, third-party teams, and contract deliverables.

Risk, Compliance & Quality Management

  • Identify program risks early and develop mitigation plans and contingency strategies.
  • Ensure programs adhere to enterprise standards, governance frameworks, regulatory requirements, and audit controls.
  • Conduct program reviews, retrospectives, and ensure continuous improvement., * Lead, mentor, and support project managers, business analysts, and technical teams.
  • Promote a collaborative, high-performance culture across teams.
  • Drive accountability, ownership, and delivery excellence.

Requirements

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Program Manager to lead, manage, and deliver large-scale, cross-functional programs that drive organizational transformation, technology modernization, and strategic business outcomes. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, stakeholder management, program governance, and delivery management skills across complex enterprise environments.

This role requires the ability to manage multiple projects, coordinate globally distributed teams, ensure successful execution of program objectives, and deliver measurable business value., * 10-18+ years of experience in Program/Project Management in enterprise environments.

  • Proven success leading complex, multi-year, multi-million-dollar programs.
  • Strong understanding of technology project delivery (cloud, data, DevOps, SRE, application development, digital platforms, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with Agile/SAFe methodologies and project delivery frameworks.
  • Strong communication, leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience managing cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
  • Proficiency with program management tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar., * PMP, PgMP, SAFe, CSM, or similar certifications.
  • Experience in highly regulated environments (finance, healthcare, insurance).
  • Familiarity with modern cloud, AI/ML, or digital transformation programs.
  • Experience collaborating with architecture, product, engineering, and operations teams.
