SAP Crystal Reports Developer - Technical Lead

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Crystal Reports Developer with strong expertise in SQL and hands-on technical experience. This is a purely technical role (not functional) and requires a candidate who can lead report development, design solutions, and guide technical deliverables.

Key Responsibilities Lead the design, development, and optimization of SAP Crystal Reports. Work closely with business and technical teams to understand reporting requirements and translate them into scalable solutions. Develop, enhance, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects. Oversee end-to-end report development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, development, testing, and deployment. Provide technical leadership, best practices, and code-review guidance to team members. Support data validation, report performance tuning, and issue resolution. Ensure documentation of technical specifications, report logic, and development standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in reporting processes.

Required Skills & Experience 6-10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Crystal Reports development. Strong proficiency in SQL, including advanced queries, stored procedures, functions, and performance tuning. Proven track record as a Technical Lead or Senior Developer. Experience working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL). Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently in a remote environment. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Nice to Have Experience with ETL tools, data warehousing concepts, or reporting platforms. Knowledge of SAP modules or integration points (not mandatory since this is a technical role)
