Job description

Drive the adoption and utilization of Airgas' eBusiness solutions by developing and supporting key growth strategies. This role works closely with customers and operations personnel to simplify the customer experience. Key responsibilities include managing user and account maintenance using the eComm Admin Tool, supporting special projects, and training new and existing associates on the eBusiness platform.

  • Manage the eBusiness platform, including new user/account setup, site maintenance, custom list creation, and data updates (SAP and eCommerce), while serving as the primary escalation point for issue resolution.
  • Drive customer adoption and utilization by proactively engaging users, managing the onboarding process, presenting solutions, and acting as the customer advocate for complex eBusiness issues.
  • Coordinate regional training for sales and process changes, and contribute to strategic development by analyzing performance data and designing new eBusiness processes.
  • Provide exceptional internal and external customer service, ensure safety compliance, and serve as backup to the eBusiness Manager on special projects.

Requirements

  • Core Skills & Mindset: Excellent customer service, attention to detail, and a solution-oriented mindset with the ability to prioritize tasks, build rapport, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Functional Knowledge: Familiarity with online shopping and internet browser troubleshooting, knowledge of SAP, and experience presenting in front of groups.
  • Work Requirements & Logistics: Must be a driven, independent worker requiring limited supervision, able to travel within the area by personal vehicle, and possess a valid Driver's License.
  • Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree (may substitute with four additional years of related experience) and a minimum of one year of experience in a customer service or eCommerce support role., * Marketing or IT background
  • SAP Business Warehouse knowledge
  • Product knowledge of industrial gases, welding equipment and safety (PPE) products
  • Prior experience using SAP strongly preferred
