Job description
As a Solutions Engineer at Eniris, you work closely with energy providers to design and build smart solutions for dynamic energy markets. You tackle algorithmic and architectural challenges related to energy optimisation, trading, and the control of physical energy assets.
By helping companies adapt to a volatile energy landscape, your work contributes directly to accelerating the energy transition.
Your responsibilities

Translating functional and market-specific requirements into technical solution designs, algorithms, and scalable architectures.

Working closely with Energy Suppliers around Europe to design and improve algorithms related to energy optimisation, flexibility, forecasting, and control of physical energy assets.

Understanding the basic principles of energy systems, electricity markets, and the physical impact of software decisions on customer installations.

Writing high-quality code that meets our standards, follows scrum methodology, and complies with modern development practices.

Identifying, analysing, and resolving bugs efficiently while continuously improving system performance and reliability.
Requirements
Collaborating with colleagues across software, product, and energy-domain teams, while also being able to work independently.
Your profile

Relevant work experience, including internships.

Experience in using software development best practices.

Experience in developing multi-tier, asynchronous and distributed systems.

Familiarity with tools and technologies such as Git, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, APIs, and cloud-based environments.

Basic understanding of energy systems or a strong interest in learning about dynamic energy markets.

A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
