Job description

We are looking for a driven Junior IT Analyst / IT Operations Support profile able to support IT initiatives end-to-end within an Agile/DevOps environment. The role combines functional analysis, operational support, governance coordination, and process automation initiatives.

The consultant will support stakeholders in structuring analyses, translating business needs into clear and testable functional requirements, and guiding them through governance processes including legal, compliance, and architecture validations.

The position requires strong analytical capabilities, stakeholder management maturity, and a solid affinity with IT operations and troubleshooting. The consultant will work within a multidisciplinary feature team and collaborate closely with business departments, enterprise architecture, operations, QA, and central IT teams.

The environment includes application changes, integrations, APIs, data flows, incident management, and workflow automation initiatives involving tools such as N8N and agentic AI.

Your missions: Support IT initiatives from analysis to delivery in an Agile/DevOps environment. Gather, structure, refine, and document functional requirements and acceptance criteria. Translate business needs into clear user stories and functional specifications. Analyze current and target processes, systems interactions, interfaces, and data flows. Coordinate governance activities related to legal, compliance, and architecture reviews. Prepare mandatory documentation, templates, and follow up on approvals. Collaborate with engineering, QA, operations, and business stakeholders to ensure efficient and high-quality delivery. Provide second-line incident support and contribute to sustainable issue resolution. Perform root-cause analysis and coordinate corrective and preventive actions. Contribute to agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives. Support workflow automation and AI-driven process initiatives. Assess feasibility, dependencies, risks, and integration patterns for automation use cases.

Your activities: Conduct functional and technical analyses for applications, integrations, data flows, and change requests. Model business processes and information flows (including BPMN-oriented approaches). Define detailed functional requirements and acceptance criteria. Document specifications and maintain project documentation in Jira and Confluence. Analyze interfaces, APIs, and system dependencies. Coordinate with stakeholders to clarify priorities and business expectations. Prepare governance inputs for architecture boards and compliance/legal reviews. Follow up governance approvals and ensure required standards are respected. Investigate incidents and perform second-line troubleshooting activities. Identify root causes and coordinate resolution with technical teams. Document corrective actions and preventive measures. Participate in sprint ceremonies, backlog refinement, and agile team collaboration. Support automation initiatives using workflow automation tools and AI-related solutions. Evaluate API usage, integration constraints, risks, and technical dependencies.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Sales?, Functional & Analytical Skills Strong analytical and conceptual thinking. Experience in functional analysis and requirements engineering. Ability to structure and document business needs clearly. Experience defining user stories and acceptance criteria. Process modeling knowledge (BPMN is a plus). Understanding of systems interactions, interfaces, and data flows. Awareness of non-functional requirements. Technical Knowledge Basic understanding of integrations and APIs (REST/SOAP). Knowledge of SDLC and Agile/DevOps methodologies. Familiarity with Jira and Confluence. Affinity with IT operations, troubleshooting, and incident management. Root-cause analysis mindset. Interest in workflow automation tools such as N8N. Interest in AI and agentic AI integrations. Basic knowledge of Git and CI/CD concepts is a plus. Understanding of logging, monitoring, and data modeling is appreciated. ITIL knowledge is considered a plus. Soft Skills Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Ability to structure discussions and clarify priorities. Professional maturity despite junior experience level. Solution-oriented mindset. Ability to maintain oversight across a complex IT landscape. Collaborative and team-oriented attitude. Experience & Languages 1 to 3 years of experience in a functional analysis-oriented role. Experience in regulated environments or financial services is a plus. Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken. Working Environment Multidisciplinary feature team environment. Collaboration with business departments, enterprise architecture, and central IT teams. Hybrid working model with partial home office possible.
