Job description
We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP HCM Payroll Consultant (Belgium) to join an internationally focused SAP Consulting Practice. In this high-impact, fully remote European role, you will lead complex deployments, manage strategic solution designs, and provide critical Application Management Services (AMS) support to high-value enterprise payroll clients. This role balances expert application troubleshooting with forward-looking SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) migrations., Solution Design & Configuration: Architect and deliver high-quality system configurations for complex Belgian Payroll environments, including deep-dive analysis of schemas, PCRs, wage types, and basic pay structures. Advanced Issue Resolution: Resolve sophisticated functional and technical defects related to overtime, Belgian social security calculations, legal reporting, taxes, posting, and specific national allowances. Strategic Consulting & Migration: Lead client workshops, document end-to-end cloud configuration architectures, and champion data migration activities (cleansing, mapping, and transformation) during SuccessFactors ECP rollouts. Application Support Excellence: Manage application support tickets from functional analysis through technical implementation, ensuring seamless delivery within SLA deadlines while keeping stakeholders aligned. Integration & Testing: Define technical integration requirements, execute rigorous system and regression testing, and ensure a flawless post-go-live transition to maintenance teams.
Requirements
Extensive hands-on experience in configuration, maintenance, and support of SAP Payroll systems (SAP HCM or ECP). Deep, authoritative knowledge of Belgian payroll legislation, local compliance frameworks, and system schemas/PCRs. Proven appetite or experience to act as a Subject Matter Expert in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP). Exceptional analytical skills combined with the ability to influence and build rapport with senior enterprise stakeholders. Fluency in English; ability to operate seamlessly across European business hours. Valid work authorization for your country of residence within Europe (visa sponsorship is not provided).
