Founding Software Engineer / Developer (Python React Full Stack) Madrid onsite to €85,000 Are you a technologist with a range of skills across the full stack? You could be progressing your career in an impactful, hands-on Founding Software Engineer role for a successful and growing Private Equity firm in Madrid. As a Founding Software Engineer you will take ownership of architecting, designing and developing new features and enhancements, as well as client bespoke applications. You'll be working across the full software development lifecycle using a range of technology with a focus on Python and React, picking up new things on the job. You'll be hands-on with technology and will work closely with senior stakeholders on complex and interesting projects, including driving the use of AI within the company. Location: You'll join a small team in Madrid on a fulltime basis (in time with flexibility to work from home once a week).

• You have strong backend skills with Python, Java, C# or C++ - happy to use Python going forward
• You also have frontend skills with React and other technologies including JavaScript / TypeScript
• You have a strong knowledge of messaging technologies such as Kafka
• You're an advocate of using AI tools to improve processes e.g. Claude, Cursor
• You have a good knowledge of databases and data management
• You enjoy learning and picking up new technologies
• You have strong commercial acumen and understand the business impact of what you do
• You have fluent English language skills, Spanish also desirable
