Job description
Are you interested in contributing to the development and maintenance of complex Datamarts? Are you agile, innovative, dynamic, and ready to implement challenging projects in a cloud-based environment? Are you motivated to work in an experienced team and collaborate across the community with other units of the company?, Our team is responsible for development and maintenance of the Datamarts for Allianz PC insurance company. The legacy systems are based on SAS (on Linux) and Oracle DBMS and are currently in migration to AWS cloud (based on Snowflake/DBT).
What you do
- Collaboration in all phases of projects, possibly also leading subprojects.
- Professional consulting of clients regarding current production and future solution possibilities, and the development of new solution concepts.
- Implementation of migration use cases (partially by support of AI tool assistants).
- Participation in the transformation of datamarts towards a cloud-based technology.
Requirements
Do you have experience in SAS?, Do you enjoy working in a team as well as handling independent tasks and, if necessary, following up with your interfaces to ensure progress? If you answer these questions with "Yes", then we have an interesting task for you., * A degree in Mathematics or (Business) Computer Science or a comparable qualification.
- Strong knowledge of agile methodologies, techniques, and processes coupled with conceptual thinking for targeted, results-oriented work. Willingness and ability to participate in complex IT projects.
- Structured and analytical approach, confident and assertive demeanor, strong communication and teamwork skills, strong service and customer orientation.
- Good English language skills, both spoken and written (CEF Level B) with the ability to clearly articulate and visually present complex issues both verbally and in writing.
- Good knowledge and experience with: Jenkins, DBT, Snowflake, Github as well as a good knowledge of cloud-based technologies, applications in the AWS environment. And AWS Marketplace.
- Experience and good knowledge in cloud development environments; proven multi-year, successful participation in (cloud) projects.
