Job description
As a Security Engineer, you will join an agile, compact Information Security team as AI-powered systems act with increasing independence and the security paradigm shifts.
We need someone who can:
- Help us secure these systems as they scale - understanding that the rules of the game are changing and wanting to be part of shaping how a small, agile team adapts to it.
- Handle emerging cyber incidents with autonomy
- Build AI-powered security workflows - automating and supporting our foundational processes with tailored AI agents.
Requirements
Working knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) and CI/CD security (Github)
- Proven experience in incident detection and response: alert triage, log analysis, forensic investigation, and containment in a SaaS/cloud context
- Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK and the ability to translate attacker TTPs into detection logic or hardening actions.
- Comfortable working across macOS endpoints and SaaS platforms
- Professional English and French - spoken and written.
Nice-to-have
- Experience building or using AI/LLM-powered tooling in a security or engineering context (automation, triage agents, prompt-based workflows)
- Hands-on experience monitoring and securing AWS environments
- Familiarity with container security (Docker, Kubernetes) and/or supply-chain scanning tools
- Knowledge of macOS security or a strong willingness to jump in
Mindset
sorted by priority (high to low)
- Strong bias towards action in a fast-paced environment. You can make decisions and move fast - even with incomplete information - and course-correct as you learn
- Versatile and adaptable. You're a "Jack or Jane of all trades." You comfortably dive into unfamiliar domains - infrastructure, compliance, vendor assessment, endpoint forensics - and deliver without waiting for someone to hand you a playbook.
- Autonomy with ownership. You deliver solutions end-to-end, from scoping to implementation to documentation, with minimal supervision.
- AI enthousiast. You're curious about - and ideally already experimenting with - AI-powered tools and workflows. You see AI as a force multiplier for a small security team, not a threat to be avoided.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. You can understand how the business works and can connect technical decisions to business impact. you can adapt your communication style to different messages and audiences, whether technical or non-technical.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. You have tackled complex security issues during time-sensitive incident responses, demonstrating adversarial and systemic thinking with a pragmatic, risk-based approach, Working knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) and CI/CD security (Github)
