We are seeking an Operational Technology & Cybersecurity specialist to ensure continuity of site-level operational and cybersecurity activities. This role provides backfill support while the current Site Lead participates in a franchise-wide cybersecurity remediation program. The specialist operates within a highly regulated, global corporate environment and is responsible for executing, applying, and communicating established enterprise policies and standards. Defining or setting cybersecurity policies is out of scope, focus is on consistent execution, alignment, and operational support at the site level.

roles and responsibilities.

• Act as a subject matter expert for operational technology and cybersecurity topics at site level.
• Support the application, monitoring, and explanation of corporate cybersecurity policies and standards to local stakeholders.
• Perform inventory and qualification of local OT assets in alignment with enterprise governance frameworks.
• Review the existing site security operating model and contribute to proposals for harmonization with current enterprise security insights and best practices.
• Document the site security model, roles, responsibilities, and governance concepts in a structured and audit-ready manner.
• Define and document implementation procedures related to the use of the standard enterprise password management solution.
• Coordinate and communicate with the organization regarding patching activities, planned maintenance, and related operational impacts in close cooperation with the IT department.
• Collaborate closely with IT, OT, cybersecurity, quality, and corporate stakeholders to ensure consistent execution of security practices.

Do you have experience in Security?, * Strong practical knowledge of cybersecurity principles, operational technology environments, and risk-based security concepts.

• Demonstrated experience working in a large enterprise or corporate environment with strict governance, compliance, and audit requirements.
• Demonstrated skill in understanding and applying corporate standards and policies at the site level.
• Experience with asset management, security governance models, and documentation in a regulated or industrial setting.
• Strong communication skills, capable of explaining complex topics clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Relevant cybersecurity certification or equivalent experience level.
• Experience in regulated industries such as healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or medical devices.
• Experience operating at the interface of IT, OT, and cybersecurity domains.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills, with attention to structure, clarity, and corporate standards.

Language & Collaboration

• Full professional proficiency in English and Dutch, both written and spoken.
• Collaborative team player with a proactive mindset and constructive input, operating within established corporate decision frameworks.

This role offers a very competitive hourly rate. This contract will run for 12 month contract
