Job description
We are seeking an experienced Platform Engineer (Cloud & DevOps) to design, build, and operate our cloud-native infrastructure and internal platforms.
In this role, you will be responsible for enabling reliable, secure, and scalable deployment of our products while supporting engineering teams with robust tooling, automation, and observability.
You will work closely with backend engineers, AI engineers, and security stakeholders to ensure our platforms meet enterprise grade standards for availability, performance, and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate cloud-native infrastructure on AWS, ensuring scalability, resilience, and security.
- Manage and operate container orchestration platform Red Hat OpenShift, for deploying and running production workloads.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support reliable, repeatable, and secure application deployments.
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent.
- Establish best practices for environment management across development, staging, and production.
- Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability systems to ensure high availability and rapid incident response.
- Partner with engineering teams to improve deployment workflows, system reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Design and enforce security best practices across infrastructure, including identity and access management, network security, and secrets management.
- Support incident response, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement of system reliability.
- Contribute to platform architecture decisions and long-term infrastructure strategy.
- Document platform standards, operational runbooks, and best practices to enable self-service for engineering teams
Requirements
Do you have experience in Red Hat OpenShift?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or
- equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability
- Engineering roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-native architectures.
- Proven experience operating Kubernetes-based platforms, preferably Red Hat
- OpenShift in production environments.
- Experience with containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- operators.
- Strong experience with infrastructure as code and automation tools.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using modern tools.
- Solid understanding of Linux systems, networking, and distributed systems
- fundamentals.
- Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting using modern
- observability stacks.
- Strong understanding of cloud and platform security best practices.
- Desirable Skills / Experience
- Experience supporting multi-tenant or enterprise-grade platforms.
- Familiarity with service meshes, ingress controllers, and API gateways.
- Experience with high-availability systems, disaster recovery, and backup
- strategies.
- Exposure to compliance-driven environments (SOC 2, ISO 27001, etc.).
- Experience with performance testing, capacity planning, and cost optimisation
- on AWS.
- Familiarity with GitOps workflows and platform self-service models.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating closely with
- product and engineering teams
