Job description

Due to continued company growth, an exciting job opportunity has arisen for a Data Analyst to support the ongoing development and management of business-critical data across our organisation.

Working closely with the Group IT Manager and senior team, the successful candidate will play a hands-on role in analysing, maintaining, and improving the quality and usability of data that supports daily operations, pricing, customer management, and reporting.

This is a practical, data-focused role suited to someone who enjoys working with real-world business data and delivering meaningful improvements., * Extract, manipulate, and analyse data using SQL

  • Maintain and improve the accuracy of customer and supplier records
  • Manage and update product and pricing data
  • Support and maintain customer fleet data and related information
  • Identify and resolve data inconsistencies and issues
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of reports within internal BI platforms
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to support operational and commercial data needs
  • Develop and maintain structured datasets to support decision-making, You will play a key role in ensuring data is accurate, structured, and usable across multiple systems and processes.

Requirements

Do you have experience in SQL?, Essential

  • Strong working knowledge of SQL (data extraction, querying, manipulation)
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience working with large datasets in a commercial/business environment
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Ability to analyse data and present clear insights
  • Comfortable working independently and managing workload

Desirable

  • Experience working with internal reporting or BI systems
  • Understanding of pricing structures, products, or customer data management
  • Experience working with operational or fleet-related data
