Job description
A growing technology-driven organisation is seeking a talented Backend Developer to join their expanding IT team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of internal systems, APIs, desktop applications and business-critical platforms used by thousands of users across the UK. This role is ideal for either a motivated graduate with solid foundations in C#/.NET or an experienced developer looking to broaden their skills across backend, integration and desktop technologies. Key Responsibilities You will play a key role in the development and support of internal systems, including:
- Developing and maintaining internal applications and business systems
- Building and supporting backend services, APIs and integrations
- Working with SQL Server, stored procedures and data-driven applications
- Supporting desktop applications built with WPF and .NET MAUI
- Enhancing existing applications and delivering new functionality
- Integrating with third-party systems and external services
- Collaborating with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions
- Troubleshooting issues and identifying opportunities for automation and improvement

Basic familiarity with HTML, CSS and JavaScript Beneficial (Not Essential)
