IT Project Manager

• Lead the delivery of IT and digital change projects within a structured portfolio environment
• Manage projects using both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies
• Shape and progress IT-enabled change initiatives aligned with organisational priorities and outcomes
• Work collaboratively with technical teams and business stakeholders to support effective decision-making
• Monitor project progress, risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure successful delivery
• Maintain governance, reporting, and project controls to support transparency and assurance
• Ensure projects remain on track within fast-paced and changing environments
• Drive delivery outcomes while managing timelines, resources, and stakeholder expectations
• Promote accountability and effective communication across project teams

• Proven experience managing IT and digital change projects
• Strong project management experience within structured portfolio environments
• Experience using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Ability to manage risks, dependencies, and project governance effectively
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
• Results-driven approach with a strong focus on delivery and outcomes
• Experience working in fast-moving and complex delivery environments
• Experience working within local government or public sector organisations
• Knowledge of IT transformation and digital service improvement projects
• Relevant project management qualification such as PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent
• Experience working with cross-functional technical and operational teams, * IT project management: 3 years (required)
